Z jednej strony dzikie i niezależne, ale z drugiej strony udomowione. Pozornie obojętne… ale jednak czułe. Rozleniwione i spokojne a jednak wciąż drapieżne.
Od początków cywilizacji obecne przy człowieku i odgrywające wyjątkową rolę w człowieczym życiu i w ludzkiej wyobraźni.
On the one hand wild and independent, but on the other hand domesticated. Seemingly indifferent… but still affectionate. Lazy and calm, yet still predatory.
Present alongside humans since the dawn of civilization, they play a unique role in human life and imagination.
Koty. W gorącej Grecji na wyspie Lesbos można je było spotkać na każdym kroku. W dzień zazwyczaj szukające cienia, śpiące w różnych dziwnych miejscach i pozach. Czasami z zainteresowaniem obserwujące dziwnego człowieka tańczącego z jakimś urządzeniem w ręku przykładanym do oka a czasami całkowicie lekceważące moje próby ich sfotografowania. Ale wszystkie razem i każdy z osobna – piękne. Nawet jeśli czasami mocno doświadczone w swoim ulicznym życiu.
Cats. In hot Greece, on the island of Lesvos, they could be found at every turn. During the day, they usually sought shade, sleeping in various strange places and poses. Sometimes they watched with interest a strange man dancing with some device in his hand held up to his eye, and sometimes they completely disregarded my attempts to photograph them. But all together and each individually – beautiful. Even if sometimes heavily experienced in their street life.
